An 1861 Vermont Civil War Military Flag was posted on ebay with the following description:

CURRENTLY ON DISPLAY AT THE ALDRICH LIBRARY IN BARRE, VERMONT.
1861 CIVIL WAR VERMONT REGIMENTAL OR BRIGADE FLAG.
For Illustrative purposes I have 2 images of an 1862 Vermont bank note to show this was the Vermont State Seal used only during the Civil War. Also the last 2 images are of a muslin flag found in an old GAR post in VT.

I believe this is a long a lost Flag. As the other illustrative muslin flag I have is a swallow tail flag, as many corps headquarter flags were also swallow tailed.

The 26" center oval remains intact, painted on both sides.
